Social Enterprise Yorkshire & The Humber Awards
The Social Enterprise Awards were held on Wednesday 21 October 2009 at Doncaster Racecourse. 165 people attended the event, hosted by Isobel Mills of Government Office Yorkshire and the Humber with John Bird, Founder of the Big Issue as keynote speaker.
It was a great night with prizes awarded across five categories:

The winners each received a trophy and certificate on the night and will receive mentoring support through the Business Link Mentoring Scheme which is funded by the Office of the Third Sector.
Congratulations to all the winners and the finalists, the night was a great showcase for the thriving social enterprise sector that exists within the Yorkshire and Humber region.
