Social Enterprise Support from Business Link
Business Link has a dedicated support and advice package tailored to meeting the needs of pre-start and start up social enterprises.
What do we mean by social enterprise?
A social enterprise is a business with primarily social objectives whose surpluses are reinvested for that purpose rather than being driven by the need to deliver profits to shareholders or owners (DTI, Social Enterprise Strategy 2002)
We are here to help you start and grow your social enterprise into a sustainable business by generating income through trading or contracting and delivering social impact. Whilst help from Business Link is available to all pre-start and start up social enterprises (up to three years old) through this programme, intensive support will be provided to social enterprises with growth potential.
